How to report copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, send a written notice to our DMCA agent including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material and its location on our platform
  • Your contact information (address, phone, email)
  • A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

Our Response Timeline

Within 24 Hours

We acknowledge receipt of your notice and begin investigation

Within 48 Hours

If valid, we remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material

Notification

We notify the content owner of the takedown and provide counter-notice information

How to respond if your content was removed

Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the removed material and its former location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • Consent to jurisdiction of Federal District Court
  • Agreement to accept service of process from the complainant

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

What Constitutes Repeat Infringement

  • Multiple valid DMCA takedown notices (3 or more)
  • Pattern of uploading infringing content after warnings
  • Failure to respond to takedown notices appropriately

  • Account suspension or termination
  • Removal of all content
  • Prohibition from creating new accounts
  • Potential legal action
